Welcome to :iS:. Congrats on the NEW FX! Lots of mods for the first Gen. The 2nd Gen not so much cuz its fairly new. You can prob start with some mods like signal mirror or angel eyes from marus. Just Pm him. The meets in the area prob will be in the spring. Post some pics!!

Hey all, my FX50s actually arrives in a couple months so I'm a little early to the scene. On my last car I did an intake, ecu, wheels, splitter and custom door pins. I was going to start the FX by having the dealer install an intake, exhaust (the invidia gemini with Ti tips looks great), and match the TMPS IDs on a second set of wheels so I can go right into summer/winter tiresets. So, yeah, I've been browsing the forum for a few weeks :)

I was looking at the Forgestar F14s for my summer wheels, but am torn between 20s and 22s.

Welcome... Looks like you have a good list to start with with.. For the wheels, imo go with 22s and wide if you want the heavy concave look..... Now, what intake will you have them install, there isn't one available fur the 2nd gen.. Also, match sensors? What you talking about Willis?

Hey, thanks.

The dealer's shop manager suggested the intake when he was trying to convince me a Limited Edition could be almost as fun as a FX50s. He said "Stillen" and "Dual Intake," but yeah, I checked their website and didn't find what he was talking about. I think he drives a 50, so I imagine we'll sort out what it really is when we get down to ordering parts.

For the TMPS the car can recognize 4 tire sensor IDs, I was going to follow the suggestion I've seen on these forums to change the IDs for my second set of wheels/tires to use the same IDs assigned to the first. That should allow me to swap wheels without going to a shop to get the warning light to go out.

Yep, no intake available for our cars yet.

First I've heard of matching your tpms for our cars. The didn't know that was possible. Please share the process once you get all the info.

PMG705, are those silver 22" Forgestar F14s on a graphite shadow (platinum graphite) FX? What tires are you running?

My dealer is ready and waiting to make the Invidia exhaust fit my FX50S, and going to dig around in the FX50 they are delivering tomorrow to see what they can do about making an intake fit. I put in a DIY CAI for my last car, and now I have a friend with a CNC and another who can make composites so I'm sure I can make something that works - even if it is just a snorkle coming out the bottom of the engine bay! I bet there is room for an air duct next to the lane departure sensor, that's gotta be a nice high pressure area.

There is also a guy in the Seattle area who does painting/color matching of headlight interriors (all the photos were of the G37s). The dealer in Lynnwood had pictures of those cars taken on their lot. I'm now thinking about getting the LED Angel Eyes and doing the install locally.

Yes they are. Running 265-40-22 toyo proxes st 2 and have zero complaints. Next set will be 285s for a little more bulge.
