Hi,

Does anyone have any information on the release date of the 2011-2012 navigation dvd update for the Infiniti FX35 series? I have a 2008 with a 2007 navigation system disc right now and it is killing me. I pretty much avoid using it because most of the data is inaccurate. I have seen the NavTeq site offering the 2010-2011 v.7.6 for $149, and I even was aware of the price cut back in July 2011. I decided not to get the 7.6 version then (although it was $50 less then with the discount as oppossed to now) as I was hoping a newer version would be released this fall. However, I have been having a very difficult time finding ANY information on a newer version. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places, who knows, I am just hoping I can get ANY CURRENT info on a new updated version for 2011-2012 that has been/will be released in the near future.

ANY INFO HELPS!

How were you aware of the price cut in July? I would ask the same resource, or ask the dealership?
 
Hello all!

I'm new to the forums but not new to the Infiniti game. I've owned an 06 M35 sport, 06 M35x, and now just picked up an 2009 Infiniti FX50S w/12,400 miles on it. There weren't many out there, but I found one in Michigan and had it shipped here. I definitely love driving that machine!
 
Brand new from Chicago as well. Nissan family growing up. Owned a beautiful beryllium 2006 FX35 (Fully loaded) until a few weeks ago. After that first taste I knew I'd never by any other make/model. Traded in my 'baby' *sniff* at 55K miles for a 2009 50S with 18K miles on it (from Michigan too!). While this does not have the toys of the Tech Package, it has more than enough to give me a 'perma-grin' whenever I have to run an errand.

I got me a 07 black/brick FX45 on Christmas of 2010 as my present. Prior to the FX I had a 07 M45 sport. Why the trade, I do not know. But I do miss the interior of the M and the voice commands. Styling and AWD was a deciding factor for me. I have not done much to it yet, as I have been dabating for the last year If I want to go for a M45x but finally realized that the style of the FX looks new to me everyday and I never felt that on the M.

I must admit, some pictures in here make me like my FX even more ;-) There are some outstanding FX's on this site.

I have been coming to the site regularly to get project Ideas etc. Since I am new to the car, I figure I just search and read old post (Do not like asking repeated questions)

So much for keeping it short.

Anyways I am in the Lancaster, PA area. Happy Thanksgiving to all and may you heat too much and do too little.
