Wax brand preference?

lol someone I know on another forum posted about zymol vintage. I laughed his ass out the door. $2400 for wax!? you gotta be a retard.

I personally use P21s, and I think it seems pretty popular.

I have always used Zymol. Cleaner then a finishing. When I bought this FX I switched to Wolfgangs sealant followed by Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Plus. She had 9K miles on her when I bought and was garaged kept. I washed, clayed, did the Wolfgang polish enhance, the sealant 3.0, waited 24 hours with her in the garage then finished with the Carnauba Plus. That was about 3 weeks ago. She got one batch since. We've had a tremendous amount of rain and very strong sun here in South Florida, but so far she is holding a decent bead. I got a decent mirror out of her.. More than I though I could for white, but she still hold a nice rich finish. As rich as one can get for White. I think Wolfgang is a bit over priced, but I have to say it went on very easy and came off even easier. Like a wow kind of easy. It literally just wiped off. If you guys want I can follow up in awhile to let you know how it holds up.

Prefer to use Duragloss 601/105 combo for both shine and protection with longevity. I use Turtle Wax Rinseless Wash mixed with distilled water as a quick detailer and also a clay lube (both different mix ratios). One bottle of TWRW makes alot of product, saving me $$. I also use Megs Hyperwash for washing. Bought one gallon last year and only used about 20oz so far (1-2oz. per 5 gallon H2O). I also stick to tire coatings that last. I just reapplied the coating recently after the first time which lasted 12 weeks, still producing a nice shine. This time I applied 2 more coats than previous. I have trim coating that should last as long, but have not taken time to apply it. I like to keep my vehicle clean but like to save $$. My routine at the beginning of spring was that I polished it with a DA, then sealed it.

Has anyone heard of or used the AMMO NYC line of products?

I haven't so I really can't say I have experience with his stuff but I have a few observations. First, the guy is a detailer, seems to be pretty good, but he's not a chemical engineer and nothing I've seen shows he has any special skills in this area. I'm confident that his entire line of stuff is a rebranding of mixes he liked and could rebrand.

Secondly the stuff is WAY overpriced comparatively.

Thanks for the reply, and yeah the stuff is way overpriced...I'm looking for a combination of products that I can use on my Ivory white pearl fx35 that will give a great reflection (obviously considering that it's a white vehicle). I've previously been using zaino and these are the types of results I've been able to achieve:

However, its not the easiest product to apply. Any suggestions on what products to use in order to achieve the nicest possible reflection on a white vehicle?

Hmmm, I keep trying to post and it redirects me.... Rah I don't have my pics anymore from last detail, but Wolfgang though over priced gave my white a very good reflection without topping it off with Wax, although I did put a coat on after. I was impressed. It was actually the most reflection I have ever got out of white. I am currently debating on a good Carnauba right now.
