No sure what u guys are doing. But I drain and filled about 5 g35s and a maxima. All with no issues or bubbles. No compressed air or anything. Just simple common sense running the car without the cap and watching the flow.
Careful bleeding and draining of the rad and plugs is required. Just don't take them off instantly.
The squeezing hose is a great idea. I do it to most cars when I'm under the hood.
Your way is ok and no problem, the compressed air and using water first and bleeding from every where possible is just an attempt to kick maximum old coolant out that is all. There will be old coolant left in all cases that is for sure.
I did not have any bubbles or a lot of sounds in my case. As per the manual after the change, the level in reservoir tank kept dropping and I kept to refill till it stopped dropping.

Shoulda used distilled water to flush the system. Overall good job.
