VK45 –Stage 1 Headers/JWT cams/TB/intake

Update - FX wouldn't start this morning nothing. Diagnostic showed crank not visible. Replaced crank sensor, tuning will resume. May have been the issue.....

Six handfuls of hair, multiple bottles of liquor, generous applications of cash= invisible crank mod/invisible FX :)

Damn, just gotta get the cash.

This reminds me of the TB. One day I will continue with that. Hard seeing proven power but then I can't use it.

Sorry, correction - once you have a working unit the power gain is for real, then you dial it in via UPREV

Go Lance Go!!! Happy to hear the Finishline is within reach.

Thanks Joe, hoping the tune today is uneventful!

Update - Engine appears to be staying in one piece, the crank sensor was apparently causing the issues with the #3 cylinder. However the power fluctuation is still present..... The shop that has the Dyno believes that it is either a vacuum leak or a TB issue. I purchased a used TB today to see if that's the issue, Charles will be coming to pick up the car and take it back to his shop to attempt and find a leak and hook up the electric fans (which were missed during the install).

Actually good news considering the engine is in one piece, but I am still not behind the wheel.

Found out two things today:
1. My VK was the second EVER to do cams - Guinea pig!
2. The titanium valves on VK45de's are "one use only " meanin you install them and never remove them. Seems the titanium valve stems are thin/delicate and any removal could cause micro fractures leading to failure. Would have been nice to know that :)

Well seems like that's the price you pay for being the guinea pig, it will payoff in the end when you get behind the wheel and start it up for the first time.
