VK45 –Stage 1 Headers/JWT cams/TB/intake

^^same here.

Heck I can't leave the site for more than a couple of minutes, I keep checking back for the newest Silver Surfer report.
We are like a bunch of Expectant parents, pacing the floor back and forth, waiting for the good word.
 
Still on the rack! Cylinder #3 is reporting a misfire. Wire and plug are not the issue, could possibly be the injector. So far pulls are strong with no breakage =) but there is no consistency in the output due to the misfire. They are working on tracking down the issue now.......
 
Thanks Wayne, I just ate a huge BBQ lunch. I feel that I am properly sedated.....REALLY hoping the misfire is an easy fix. Got to say that simply knowing that the engine hasn't blown up yet is VERY positive, it always happened very early on before.

Update: No breakage, sounds like the engine is solid and cams/springs/valve assembly is working out BUT cylinder 3 is still causing problems. The misfire is creating torque fluctuations of 60-80 lbs. Also there is one other issue, engine will run up up to redline and comes back down to idle perfectly but after 2-3 seconds at idle it simply shuts off. No chug, no odd noises, no warning, just off. Could be the bored TB, still not sure. Going to try another TB and do a compression check on three tomorrow. Trouble shooting.

Didn't JWT test it before they shipped it out? If so then the only thing different now is the tune...

They spun it but I don't think it ran. Pretty sure the TB is causing some of the problems, praying the cylinder is the injector.
 
Ed why don't you fly out and shoot some beers with Tim, Nick and I over the carcass of my FX? Comment from tuner today was that it sounds crazy good, he likes it better with the HFC's.
