VINYL cleaning Product

It is a cleaning product called Spray Nine. First, I would like to say that I have NO CONNECTION with this company!
I have been detailing vehicles for over Fourty years and in that time, I have tried and compaired many products.
Spray Nine can be purchased at many auto parts stores but I order on-line for a better price. It cost app. $16.00 per gal.
It is a Vinyl Cleaner that can be used on Carpet and Cloth upholstry. DO NOT USE ON LEATHER!!! It will harden Leather and says so on container.
Other then being the BEST cleaner I have purchased it is a DISENFECTANT!
As I said--I have used it for over 30 years and have never been dissatisfied with it.
I just wish this company well and want them to continue making this fantastic cleaner.
The closest product I have found, when compared side by side, is Greased Lightening. However the Disenfectant makes Spray Nine well worth the difference in price.
Spray Nine is the ONLY Multi-Purpose cleaner that my wife uses in our home, Kitchen and Bath especially.
Just try a quart bottle for yourself and decide.
It won't do miracles---or maybe it will----??? but it Cleans and Disenfects!

thanks for the recommendation. i might just give this a try. they also have a line for automotive products.

Over the years, I have recommended Spray Nine to MANY friends. I told each one that I would refund their purchase price if they weren't impressed.
I have never made a refund and have received a "Thank You" from many! Just the other day, I was at a friends house and asked for a coffee cup. I saw a bottle of Spray Nine in their cabinet and made a comment.
My friend told me he had bought two gallon because she used so much in the home!

soo this stuff will get off crap on the carpet and the headliner?
I was talking to a parts man about cleaning cigarette smoke stains from a HARD fiberglass roof on a Chevy Blazer. I had tried every product imaginable with very little cleaning. This Spray Nine melted it off easily, and I was hooked.
I have cleaned greese and oil stains from auto carpet with no discoloration. I have cleaned fabric upholstry with no discoloration. My wife has used it to clean pet--and grandchildren---accidents in our home carpet. I will have to admit that, in our beige home carpet, there was a slight discoloration, but hardly noticable. Of course you should check for discoloration before using--as the instructions state!
Please note that this is a multi-purpose cleaner mainly developed for vinyl!

Yeah thanks for the recommendation. I'm gonna go ahead and give it a try too.

I have also used spray 9 for about the same length of time.

I use it to clean the non-skid deck of my fiberglass boat, floor mats etc. Just be careful, it is strong and will dry things out. Personally, I would not use it on the dash or door panels, if I did it would be sparingly. You should use a protectorant or rejuvenator after using Spray 9 on some vinyl and rubber products.
It is also great for cleaning in the bathroom, since it is a disinfectant.

THANKS for the photos-----You are correct about cleaning a dash or door panel. When cleaning vinyl upholstry, especially a verticle surface, I saturate a small cloth and apply evenly. If you spray on a verticle surface, it will run down and create visible streaks that have to be blended in. You are also correct that it cleans so well that it leaves the surface somewhat "dull" and a protectant needs to be applied.
Also, when removing spots from fabric upholstry or carpet, it should be BLOTTED up not rubbed in.
As with any STRONG cleaning fluid-- testing is NECESSARY!
