Vdc off , Slip and Service Engine Soon Lights On!

Brake pads or fluid is not a warranty covered item.

I think that's common sense. I was implying that it is most likely something else other than pads or fluid.

We have just been getting VDC and Slip light on with no check engine light. It only happened twice now when it's a little colder in the morning. The lights go away after a short drive. Strange...

The stealership suggested I add brake fluid since it might be low. I check the fluid and it was fine, but I added some more to to it off. I hope it doesn't come back on.

just had this same problem yesterday...diagnostics were run on the car and everything is fine...they said the cam sensor will malfunction due to low or dirty oil as well..i added some oil and everything is fine...just fyi so we dont all start replacing the sensor

Did adding the oil do the trick? I have the infamous check engine light on as well. (will go to Autozone ASAP to check the codes). I have a 2005 @ 81k mi (just bought the thing).
