VDC & AWD Fully Off - How To

Reading through this thread cracked me up...

I traded in a 2000 Isuzu VehiCross with Torque on Demand for my FX35. Over on VXinfo site, the exact same discussions, almost word for word, went on about how-to's, pros & cons, etc...

It's a small world after all... ;)

so I ran into some issues when trying to tackle this on my 09 Fx50

I think the fuse boxes may be different, because the one in the foot well under the center console does not have an "AWD sol" label on the chart.
The chart is as follows:

and the fuses:

I think there must be a different location for the same fuse, but I'm sure the same trick is possible... Time to search for wiring diagrams. Maybe it's in the engine bay fusebox? I'll check now.

Fuse box by the Battery:

Nothing marked "AWD SOL" or "AWD" but there are two "VDC" fuses labeled on the bottom right...maybe the third fusebox (I think the 2nd gens have them too, under the battery basically) has the fuse.... Maybe one of the VDC fuses does it? I'm not sure.

I know this thread is 2 years old but it's still good info and would like to update it with this.

Tested on my 06 FX45, when the fuse is pulled and you drive over 10 mph the AWD light does come on. Also with the vdc off the slip light still comes on when I started to drift around a corner. But a straight forward burnout didn't make the light come on so not sure where the slip light gets its info to come on or if it does anything with the fuse out.
