Jordan the switch can come later. Go outside and pull the fuse and enlighten us with some sick videos!

Nothing so far. Of course i'm not going to run it long term. Need to put it back the fuse tomorrow morning, maybe put 20 miles on it so far...

This is the COOLEST thing I have heard all week!! Gonna try this tomorrow!

Seems like only the FX35ers tried this no one with a FX45 is willing to try? I'm a pussycat, so don't ask me. I had my share of repairs this year already.

An update for the non-believers.
RWD is fun. I feel for you guys who have it permanently; Such constant self restraint... On a 15 degree incline with vdc off, I got well into third gear drifting the back a foot or so side to side before catching traction. I probably wet sanded 5K miles off the tires in one trip to Home Depot.

With vdc on in a straight line it's surprisingly similar to awd; No slip and smooth takeoff. Around corners however the tires will spin a bunch before vdc steps in.

It did not feel faster or slower at any speed or in any circumstance.

All in all I may do it again sometimes but I'm not going to install any switches. It's a cool novelty but I much prefer atessa in it's full capacity for daily driving. It makes me feel safer.

I posted that originally in another thread, but I pulled the fuse on 6/17/11, replaced it on 6/19/11, and have no issues to report as of today.

^ Haha agreed buddy... main reason i put the fuse back was cause didnt want to tempt myself balding up the tires in a month!

If you do a standstill, vdc off, rev up to 2.5-3k and launch it, tires will most likely spin too. Add some water and you got yourself a sick burnout!

AKA "smoke show" funny as hell watching those guys, really liked the part where he's applying it directly to the tire.....
