LOL John, we just have fun trying to beat up on each other, hahaha.
No logitech wheels here, but I did consider about getting the cage set-up with the seat, wheels, shifter and pedals all integrated but the wife would kill me, lol. Its been pretty cool to play online with the guys. I bought the game for my 8 year old son and I end up playing more then he does lol.

doc, when my boy was younger I'd do the same thing, [;aying more with it myself. sometimes staying up till real late racing & wining money, buying cars... when I played with him I'd have to at least let him win sometimes or he'd get mad. now the tables have turned though, he's 13 & he just kicks my ass in just about anything we play, your day will come for that I'm sure
I have it on xbox360 though, I don't even know anything about getting online on the ps3, do you need an account subscription like the xbox or ? only have the ps3 in my living room...
ok, I played around with the 09 fx grille a bit tonight, cut it down to size & test fit in the shell from my old grille... it's a nice fit & a nice look to me, I like it... I like the way it plays with the light with all the angles it has. sometimes something that is very 3d doesn't look as good in pictures as it does in real life cause you don't see it the same as when you are moving around and in front of it & all the angles constantly change.. this is part of the look, but just captured in a picture it doesn't have the same effect cause it's just one static freeze frame of that look, if that makes any sense... it's a very fluid look & a beautiful grille in person to me... heres a few night shots

its weird though they look fine untill you get them into bright light then they get really blue

Grill looks different John. Probably takes a bit of getting used to, but nice work nonetheless. I know there is a method to all your madness, lol hahaha
.ah, jordan, I guess it's the clearcoat that's changing the look, that color sample was pretty flat but it's the only thing that matched right, that's why it looks good in indirect light, but not in the sun... matching the powdercoat is just tough, without the clear it'll look too flat, but match color wise... take some more playing there...
soon, I got rid of the huge monster qx56 emblem long ago, have the original fx emblem on that qx56 grille now for a long time & same size as this emblem really, but I think this 09 grille looks a bit sportier than the qx grille which looks a little more dressy, maybe the qx grille with emblem delete will be nice & more sporty looking... an emblem delete on the 09 grille would be very difficult, but I think it kinda needs the emblem too, gotta see what it looks like during the day ...
