:tup::tup::tup::tup::tup:

At work, you can always tell who just gets the job done and who is passionate about what he/she is doing and goes above and beyond what is necessary.

Envious of your love for innovation and possessing the skills to make your ideas into reality….

I'm at the level where I remove the front bumper and I pat myself on the back... even if it took me few hours where it would take most 30 minutes.

the ones that are no good are just no good... garbage. if you don't use your fx much at night & aren't running 2 sets of HID's then maybe they'll last a bit longer?, docs are not developing this issue yet but he don't drive much at night... can't see anyone wanting to use these even knowing the problem that will eventually happen but stu, if you want a set of the clears you can have a set, a waste of time to even bother installing them though to me.... there garbage for this use... could it be that berts are seeing this more because of the dual hids? donno but hardly worth the work to install them just to eventually find out weather there ok or not for just single hid use... you wanna be a guinea pig & find out :tongue:

wow, first the adding HID ability to these lights really complicated things over my first vision for these lights, now these reflectors sucking... well, just sucks...

I'm just very glad that I don't have many of these out there already... that woulda really sucked... now I'm also worrying about testing time with the new resin... the owner of the company I'm buying it from now thinks it should be fine for this, he's even cocktailing the resin for me with a slight blue tinge, not enough to make them look blue at all, but just enough to be bluer clear, kinda like a 6k headlight, says this goes a long way towards preventing a brownish tinge developing too even at higher temps... I'm guessing the inside of the headlight has to see sustained temps of up to ~150 degrees or so on the worse side... he's pretty confident it'll hold up fine but ????

Hmm, if there's the possibility it would make my FX look nicer with the blacked out lights I would try. I would only do the single HID, and just leave the DTRL one blank. If I could find a cheap set of spare headlights I wouldn't mind trying if you'd like the testing done. If it can benefit the both of us, then it might be a good trade off.

stu, don't really benefit me as now knowing this issue there just garbage to me, I'd never use them for anything nor suggest anyone else does, but if you want a set lmk...

whitehair, thank you. I let even smaller imperfections really bother me & I'm not truely happy with almost anything I do, it's more a matter of being frustraited enough to try & get it as perfect as I really want, then eventually getting to the point where I can at least think there at least good enough to be acceptable, but I find fault in almost anything I do & it does stress me sometimes... my own headlights never remained in my car because of imperfections in the bezels finish... I'd rather not have them than to look at them & think they should have been better... many times when I send something out I'm cringing at the thought of the reciever not being happy with any flaws, & most times the reciever is extremely happy with what they recieve, but in the end I almost never truely am 100% satified with just about anything I do... thankfulluy most people aren't as anal & critical as I am... this is another reason why I can't havbe anyone else work on my own stuff... almost everyone sucks & don't care about the details...

no it's a grey one... (black one is an astro van) not dropped yet but needs it badly since the new wheels... I put 18's to replace the 17's, with the 17" chromies it looked nice & low but now with the 18's with black centers they look like 16's cause of the lip & it looks jacked up in the air now too for some reason :k: no one makes anything in lowering springs for a minivan :tdown:

hmmmm maybe you could find springs that fit a car form the same brand and see if they fit..

already looking at that, closest is a grand prix but I don't want to put all that much effort into this thing... already looking at bbk for it, would look nice inside the hre's, 12" 2 pc. front rotor & baer brakes but I don't want to really get so much into this thing atm, but the brakes really make the wheels look kinda blah... & then it looking like it needs a drop don't help either...
