great work as always turbo. so it takes 2 sets of headlights to fab 1 set of turbo lights? if i had the dough i'd ask you to fab a set w chrome rings like the one pictured but with silver/alum painted ring tips.

Holy Crap you need to Run R.N.D at Infiniti,Then maybe we would get some Sick OEM stuff from the factory.:tup::tup: Nice job bro

john you need to market these lights bro! and the clear marker too!! you will be making lots of cash!!!

Quick question John Re: The set of two light assemblies on the white table closet to the camera-On the innermost lights the black rings are overlapping the chrome bezels on the middle lights. Are these just laid in place for a photo opp and when built they'll be pushed back? They appear to be at an angle in the shot so I assume they are "staged" for a quick shot.

I have been an interested/impressed bystander for much of this project but I am going to get off the bench and order up. These are just too cool to pass up and they'll marry up well with the black caskyline style grill you made for EG3 that I just purchased......

On topic question: Concerning the inner led mod for the lights you made, do you think these will be less noticable when running a higher K xenon then oem....??

Oem is 6000K and i'm planning to run say 8000K

oem is 4300K. the 6000K are super white. the 8000K have the bluish tint to them - pretty similar to the lexus bulbs.

the LED will be hard to see, unless you wire them up to a relay to get more voltage (possible) to them. I have similar LEDs and with the power from the DTRL, they are not as bright when I bench tested them.

i have the 8000K and i love them... you probably won't be able to see the leds, but, if you wire it up so you can only have them on only, that'll be sick. that's what i'm going for.

Damn tho one with the metal looking rings instead of the chrome look so nice.. It match with my DG perfectly!!!!!

So it looks like you are in the home stretch. Whats it going to take for me to get a hold of these? I know there are a several senior members that are ahead of the line.

There is a interested list in this thread. Put your name of the list. Turbo will confirm the list once he is ready and go by the order of the list. He may or may not have enough lights to fufill all requests with the first run so it all depends really.

no no, sorry guys haven't had time to type much here but please no adding to the list!!! at this point who ever is on my list is confirmed as these lights are available to them, after the list is satisfied then I do have a few others that I will give first consideration too, of course rays gonna get his & maybe one or 2 others that I have promised, but that's it. I will start an interested list for future lights later, but honestly for the most part the guys who got in on this are probably the only ones going to get these lights for a while, not even looking to discuss the next batch just yet :embarrassed: I'll add to this later tonight...
