They did a tranny flush right after the radiator change as per my request since I have 56,000 and one is due at 60,000 anyway so I doubt it was coolant in the tranny fluid. That's good info to know though, a radiator change should require a tranny flush as standard protocol if that's the case. Luckily I was due for one anyway or I would probably go get one just because you brought that to my attention.
So I went back to the dealer and had them check the fliud level in the tranny and they claim it was definitely low and they topped it off. I'm happy to say......... no more bucking. This certainly wasn't the normal kind of bucking some of you are describing as normal, as a matter of fact the day I was taking back to the dealer, I was leaving a gas station and I slowed to look both ways leaving the driveway and when I got back on the accelerator (I didn't no where near accelerate aggressively) the car paused then bucked forward so hard I felt like if I wasn't paying attention it could have launched me into oncoming traffic. The other thing I noticed that morning was that when I stopped completely, after about 3 seconds of being completely stopped I could see and feel the car try to push forward a little, then settle, seeming something like what shadow191 describes above.
The FX definitely does a fair amount of rough shifting with the 7 speed tranny but this was far beyond normal. Anyway if anybody ever experiences this type of thing as drastic as I did especially after a tranny flush, now they will know where to start trouble shooting. Thanks fellas.
