Hm... I'm really considering a transmission flush now...
The amount of old fluid (in quart) remains after flushes, assuming that 4 quarts are drained each time:
Original 14.00
1 -> 10.00
2 -> 7.14
3 -> 5.10
4 -> 3.64
5 -> 2.60
6 -> 1.86
7 -> 1.33
8 -> 0.95
9 -> 0.68
10 -> 0.48
Using spreadsheet lol.Hold up! How did you come up with all that?! lol
Drop the pan and cut your time & labor in 1/2.
If you've got one of these so called "sealed" transmissions, check out the G37/370Z type sites where I'm sure you'll find all you need to know on this topic. If your transmission has a pan, more fluid can be drained by removing it. I suppose shops or the dealer have a vacuum apparatus to extract the old while injecting the new.
As much as I respect their engineering, I am just gonna leave these here. The car drives so so smooth now. It's night and day!
Try a bottle of this! My FX shifts way smoother now!Hello,
Did you feel these results after just two flushes or did you do more then two? Also do you think this service is justifyable to let the dealer charge me an arm and a leg to flush the transmission fluid?
I've always had a problem with how the FX shifted and I am willing to do anything to improve this.

Flushing old fluid is not going to make the sloppy-assed shifts feel any more positive. A shift kit will make a SUBSTANTIAL difference.Hello,
