You can also buy the 2-gal HDX sprayer from HD.

Hey, how do you connect the hose to the sparyer bottle? Do you just disregard and cut out the original hose, then connect the hose with the screw cap?

Just replace the hose with a clear one with 1/4in ID, which is also available at HD. You'll know what to do oonc you open the connector.
