Top 1/4 Mile Times ( FX - Bolt-Ons and FI )

Removed rear seats and my huge spare tire. And this time I barely had any fuel in the tank.

So those were the only things removed?

thats crazy good time stu ! whats the adjusted time, Doc?
I cant believe you can run that fast! awesome

No correction necessary Alan as Dallas Raceway is only 500ft ASL, so time stands without correction.

Yes, if you would like, I can take a picture of everything together.
1. Rear seat backs
2. Rear seat bottom
3. spare tire
4. Jack and tools
Total of 150 lbs, or basically canceling out my weight in the car itself.

What do you guys put the revs too when you torque brake it? VDC off right?

Between 3-4k rpm.

By looking at the times. It seems like the TS ecu flash doesn't do much compared to the stock ecu. It looks so to me but i could be wrong.

Actually all the 45's on the drag times thread has had the TS ecu reflash. We don't have a bone stock 45 to compare. Different elevation's at different tracks and higher grade gas can make a difference.

That was before Ken had the T/S flash actually. I thought I mentioned that already, but I guess not.

I don't think so Stu. Everything was verified with Ken at the time before it was posted. Unless he gave me wrong information. Plus if there was a mistake, why would he have not corrected me at that time.

I'm just going by what he told me when I told him about my latest times a few months ago. Also, it lists Bert on here as having a stock ECU, so there is a non-tuned 45 either way. Or maybe that info is wrong, too?

I'm pretty sure Bert's time was with the ECU reflash from my recollection, but I will double check with him. I don't know about Ken but its been like this since the day of his run at the track and he did not say anything to me about it what so ever. I don't know why he would have said something different to you after all this time.

Why r we talking about hear say. Why don't you just get Ken to settle it Stu. If it's that importAnt let him come on and settle the confusion. No need to verify for someone elses stats

He has a stock ecu. I have a reflashed ecu by techno square.

Because he doesn't come on here. It doesn't matter what the stats are, until someone is trying to compare a tuned vs. a non-tuned time, so that's why I never made a big deal about it. And it's not hearsay if it's fact.

I see your point Stu. If it's that important to u then I suggest u have Ken speak for himself.

The data was and is verified by him. End of discussion.

That's actually what I did today...watched the tree light then floored it all the way to the 1/4 mile mark.

Does anyone know if this would actually damage your engine? Asking around, got mixed responses from people. Some say that it will not damage your engine/tranny, others say that you will screw up your torque converter...

Hey Stu, I scanned my timeslips last last night, will post them this evening. But to address the stock ECU discussion, I'll confirm that my FX, HAS A STOCK ECU so hopefully we'll have a baseline comparision.

It may if you do it enough times, but then you can get a higher stall TC for that purpose.

Stu, like I said its been posted that way since his run at the track and he did not say anything about it. If there is a mistake than it is up to him to clear it up. And in fact, it is "HEARSAY" because it is not directly from the source.

Re: Top 1/4 Mile Times ( FX35, FX45, EX - Bolt-Ons and FI )

I guess I could pull up the email he sent me if you really don't believe me or Bert, but I doubt Ken will get on here just for this.
