They're Here!

I didn't take any pictures of yours I don't think, but here's a teaser shot of what these look like painted. these are rears, had to match them to a set of front brembo's on a Z that these winded up on, but you get the idea... these brakes are hot for the $$$

no text cause the guy had me redo the fronts also with the brembo stencil, didn't know what to do on the rears:tongue:
Hot Dam John those are sweet man...

Why wait?!?
Snow pics are in these days.
Cmon man, show your shit!

With all the salt stuck on my FX, it wouldn't be a nice snow pic.. Plus, it rained after the snow last night so everywhere is salty, muddy snow.. And that shit gets stuck on the panels.. I can probably take a shot of the front wheels after I clean them up a little tonight..

Well those are for a customer, not his.. His FX is not exactly clean but then he uses it as a rolling test/fitment center

Anyways, what can I say? Soon...

no, not good. I think you should change your say to 'Now & Later'

BTW, can you make me one 2?

I'm not the one doing it. Turbo is.. He's not the resident butcher for nothing I guess.. :.smile:

What adjustment did the dealer make to the brake pedal?

He adjusted the bolt shown in this diagram:

There's a small play that can be reduced to get a more direct feel. It's not as direct as I want it to be but much better than before. You don't feel any change in pedal's position but you feel loss of the play with zero bite.

That's what I call a detailed reply ! Thanks for the info. I really dislike the brakes in my 35 and will be doing this mod ASAP.

my pedal also has well over an inch- 1.5" of travel before it engages anything, always considered that was normal though, many cars have different engagement points, cool that ours is adjustable though... I never thought much of it, feels fine to me & what I'm used to I guess...

Great upgrade EG3!

Also nice color for the brakes john!

I have a question.. When one does this upgrade to our FXs would we be changing the rotors too?

Yes. Both front and rear rotors are bigger from stock. They're thicker as well I believe..

Great! So when you buy this upgrade it comes with rotors and calibers right? Also how much is it? I know john it's working on a part to be able to install the rear one safetly. And if I recall the whole kit(front and rear ) was a Lil over 2k right ?

I didn't get the rears (yet) but the fronts cost me $823 and Joe @ infinitipartsusa had a free 2 day shipping promo at that time so no shipping, no tax as well.. The fronts are calipers, rotors, pads and all bolts etc. I used my existing Stoptech steel lines as well.. Once John gets his adapters and we learn about the pricing etc, I think I'll get the rears as well..
