The Random Question Thread

Sweet, I'm sure I can just snip that off.
How do I remove the lens? I'm about to do a TSX-R swap

Use a flat head screwdriver and start prying on the four notched spot around the lens ring. Work on each a little at a time so the the ring is coming off evenly.

Anybody know who makes this wheel?

Lucki, you have a good eye!
It is not a Pacer, but those 783C's are VERY close. So close that it pointed me in right direction. They are Borghini B7's. Looks like part of Velocity.

Hmmm... Looks like somebody's shopping for wheels. Do eeeeeeett!

Ha, glad it pointed you in the right direction. I wasn't 100% sure, but they sure look close to those Borghini wheels. I like the clean lip look.

Are you going to put them on your ride Pork?

Well, the story is that I really do like my OEM 20s, but wouldn't mind having some other nice 22's to mix it up a bit. I was presented the opportunity to try this set of 24's and I figured it would be a good test for me to see how I like the feel of such low pro tires. Now that I have them, I not too jazzed on the look. These are not my style. I know many people here want to vomit at the amount of chrome, but I am more forgiving of the chrome look than others.
We will have to see. I might try them for a day and decide from there.
They are 24x10 wrapped in 255/30/24.

hr engine: high revving, stronger built, 2 throttle bodies, most of the parts are not interchangeable

Anybody here a garage door opener expert? lol

Hopefully you didn't get a new Chamberlain or Liftmaster with myq. The homelink 2+ is not compatible with 1st gens or early 2nd gens. You need a repeater and that doesn't run off battery power. So if your power is out, even if you have backup battery on garage door opener... the repeater doesn't work and you can't get in/ out. Hopefully that isn't the problem...but you didn't say , so I'm taking a shot in the dark.

Hahaha thanks guys, but I asked the question on Yahoo Answers before posting here and got an answer.
Long story short, my torsion spring has snapped and needs to be replaced.

Random, but I never knew how HEAVY garage doors were until the spring broke. Just wow.

You're lucky that you haven't experience a power outage and needed to take the car out of the garage. So, be careful if you plan to replace the torsion spring yourself.
