The Random Question Thread

The random question of the day...

When in excel working in a pivot table, is there a way for when you filter to check or uncheck multiple items in a quick way aside from clicking individually?

I know some filters you can do it by like a greater than or less than field but not always an option in a pivot. Seeing if there's a way to like hold something down and scroll or anything that may help. Thanks!

Can't help you there bud as I'm one of those that are excel illiterate. A friend of mine, who's in finance, came over the other day and was showing me something on excel; getting automatic updates on stock prices/% held etc... In the end he was so dumbfounded as to how little I knew on excel. "How could you not know how to make simple equations on cells" he says.. I replied by asking him if he knew how uv light causes free radicals and how it affects our health. He got the point lol.

Anyway, no help here :-)

Haha thanks for the effort! Yea the live updates for excel are a pretty cool feature. I never really use them because pulling up a spreadsheet is as easy as pulling up a watch list on a website pre saved.... That being said there are some fun things to do with excel. Highly recommend learning some basics!

The question is still open for anyone to jump in....anyone at all

I noticed a noise coming from the FX but can't figure it out. Really noticeable driving in parking garage. It's a clicking type noise or almost like the sound if you tighten something that is plastic to tight and keep going . Not sure what it is.

Don't think it's a nail or foreign object and my tire pressure all seems fine .

Not a lot to go on but any ideas

Are you asking for the pivot to either "select all items greater than X" or "select all items that are = to X"? You can either record/write a macros OR make a 'helper' column itself in the data which contains the filter you are trying to sort by. I usually just do the helper column, no need to screw around with macros, and easier for others that aren't too fond of excel to review. Not sure if this is what you're asking but hope it helps

Does it change with wheel speed? 1 of my OEM center caps makes a clicking sound from the tab being too loose.

I bought 4 orange painted calipers from Zebra a few months ago and the time has finnally come to have them put on,
any idea how much a shop on average would charge me to install and bleed the breaks of 4 calipers ? + install of brake pads ?
Ive been getting insane quotes from 500+ to 400 to 250 from a local guy

I wanted to do them myself but the only part that is freaking me out is bleeding the brakes which in turn I heard isn't the hardest thing in the world

Anyone here read Chinese? Someone on my Facebook posted something on Chinese and when I clicked on translate" it just doesn't make sense.
