You know, it was in the right area, and was thick enough to be a ground. Not a bad thought actually. I wonder why it would be hanging down like that. I had never noticed it before.

The weird thing is, the mechanic at Infiniti couldn't tell me what it is. I am inclined to chalk that up to him being young, but still, very odd.
 
Im getting a popping in my dash speakers when the bass drops. No bass boost set on my ipod or anything. When I turn down the bass on the head unit it stops. I have boston acoustics se35's in the dash with no middle channel. I't didn't do it before so I don't know why it is doing it now.
 
So i came home from a 1000km drive. found out that my driver rear caliper is seized. I took it apart and it seems like the sliding pin was dried up and stuck.. lubed it up and put it back on hopefully it does the trick.

Im wondering what holds the brake piston assembly together anyways? the thread piston doesn;t reach the other assembly.

Also is it ok to run with one side low brake pad? Must of been seized for a while and the pad is half gone.
 
Running low pad on one side should be fine unless it really low. The brake system just pump more brake fluid to the low pad caliper.
 
Okay so I ordered two gatorback belts from summit racing more than a week ago and got them both in last week. One of the belts was too large and I called them and they verified that it was too large. I sent it back in to be exchanged and they shipped out the new one yesterday. Well I was looking at the order details on the exchange and now I think the one that they sent me is going to be too small. The first one they sent me was supposed to be a GTR-4060465 but instead what I got was a GTR-4060480. I called them and told them it was too big and to send me the correct size which they agreed to. Now in the order details it says they have sent me a GTR-4060450. Is this going to be too small and wil I have to, yet again, get an exchange?
 
My cross checking from info I found on rockauto said that GTR-4060450 is the correct belt
 
Change up the 03-05 front bumper to 06+ bumper and then continue with the mod you have in mind. :wink:
 
Haha, that will be to much trouble, fitting the badgerless grille and re-wrapping a whole bumper, AGAIN:rotfl:

just 06+ fogs, that's it. They have a blacked out housing inside, didn't want to put any tint on my fogs.
 
How do you remove the engine cover?
The top 2 screws came off easily,
but the bottom two screws were hard. Is that normal?
 
^ it shouldn't be that hard. Try spraying the bolt with WD40 and let it sit for a while. Don't apply hard force on it though. Those 10mm bolts are quite brittle when over torqued. I broke off 2 bolt heads already in the past.
