Does anyone know the exact name for the cable that goes from the back of the foglight or hid ballast into the harness. It has a female plug that you connect the hid ballast into. Mine has melted inside and so i need that cable. I cant find it anywhere and the dealer told me they dont know which cable im talking about.

Are you taking about the aftermarket harness like this

Yes, but the cable that I need is the factory one that the foglight bulb goes into or if you have hid what the ballast connects too.

Take a look at these H8 connector/pig tail and get one that you needed. Snip off the factory on wire the new connector/pig tail, solder the joints and heat shrink tube to the wire connections (obviously, you would slip the he shrink tubes in before you solder the connector to factory wires). I highly doubt that you can buy just that short section of the fog light wiring/connector as it comes as on freaking long engine bay wire harness. Just buy the right connector/pig tail and replace the factory connector.

Thanks yea, i tried this and actually bought two of these cables a few weeks ago thinking it was the ones I needed. The actual plug that I need is the one that the male plug on these h8 wires plug into on the factory harness. I can't find it ANYWHERE! Since mine is burnt, the driver side fog light is pulling a lot more wattage and the passenger side is staying that blue color that hids are when they're warming up.

Color differences between the two bulbs is most likely a problem with the ballast or the bulbs themselves. That should not have anything to do with one side was burnt out and the current or voltage is higher that caused the good side to go brighter and eventually change the color of the light output. Imagine if lights on the car, such as the turn signal, DTRL, or the headlights. If one side was burnt or not turn on for any reasons, the other side don't go brighter or change color because the wires are wired parallel and not in series. I feel that you have a set of less quality ballast and HID bulbs. A good test is to put the stock H8 back on the driver side and you will see that the it not any brighter or color changes.

If your bulb look like this:

You will need this:

I should have taken a picture of the one I need. I had it in my hand yesterday and forgot to. Its a oval shaped plug that the male end of these wires plug into. Then that cable goes into the car's headlight harness.

Ok, the two pics above is for fixing your stock wiring. I guess I'm really confuse now of what/which wire you need. You need wire that comes with your HID?

No this wire/plug that i need is the one that goes from the factory harness into the ballast. Its the subharness cable that has a female connector at the end.

Well if the factory connector was bad, you still need to replace the factory connector so that it can be plug into the HID ballast. That connector should be the right connector (H8). Just take some pics of the connector of the bulbs, the factory connector, and ballast. Post them up.

Anyone have a extra chrome Infiniti logo that goes on the 20" stock rim-center cap. Lost one of mine driving the other daday or where can I order one? Part #? Thanks for any help

I have a thump basketball bouncing sound in my front suspension. I had it b4 I changed my strut and springs and strut mounts and bearing I a just picked up some sway bar links and ideas on what else it can be

Try tightening the bolt on the sway bar link more. Even if its hand tight but not tight enough, it will make a thumping noise in the cabin.
