If the old still good use it. I would not spend $70 for them for sure. Or buy some anti squeak jelly and apply it on thw back if you want. I normally just reuse the old if they didn't comes with the new pad.

How does the rear brake assembley work since there is no spring clip for the rears, how does it release itself? seems to me it would jsut rub all day...

I haven't gotten my hands dirty recent enough to answer the first part of your question, but yes, disc brakes historically maintain constant contact by design. Old school racers would prefer drums over discs decades after discs became common place for this very reason. Now stopping power is valued a bit more.

I keep looking at some yellow fog lights on ebay for the first gen FX. Are these like direct replacements? Does anyone know? They come with new wiring and a new switch, but can you just pull out your fogs and hook the yellow ones up with your old wiring and use your regular switch?

Oh yeah and does the engine cover from a G35 fit on the FX35?

Yeah they come with new wires by they are basically plug and play. You just have to find a good spot where to place the ballast.

It is pretty much oem replacement
If you want to go HID 3.5k yellow, all you gotta do is strap the ballast somewhere, plug the oem connector to the ballast then put the hid bulb into the oem fog light housing. All plug and play.

Another open is to get a halogen yellow plug and do a direct replacement or just buy some yellow overlays and stick it on the fog light housing and use your stock bulb.

yes the g35 engine cover will fit the fx.
