why?

So you change it out first...then run the filter with dirty oil until it warms up and then drain it to change the oil? Or you warm up first to put in new oil that mixes with old filter, then let it cool and then change out the filter....not following why this would be better for the car?
 
I do it all while warm so it flows out nice and quick. Screw burns, I got plenty of skin on my butt they can use! :tongue (2):

ok i am answering to my own Q
today i did the oil change with mobil 1 ep with fram 6x anew seet of magnetic oil plug (ebay)
well to answer my own Q i took the filter out first xpecting alot of oil.... to my surprise only about 2-3

oz of oil came out ...... i guess so if anyone wondered to change the filters in between oil changes.... i say
do it.... and just check the fluid after wards..... alittle bit will be needed to refill...
 
Surprising and interesting to me. Usually I like to let the oil drain for a good 30 mins before pulling the filter. When pulling sooner on a quick and dirty job, I could've sworn that more spillage occurs. Maybe its the power of my emmense imagination.

no problem.... i let the oil drip for like an hr today cuz i was also doing my rotors and brakes today....
felt clean... lol.....
i got rotorpros slotted and drilled all is fine xcept.... when i am stopping i feel an very little vibration
soft rumbly type...... could this be bc of fresh set of pads n rotors? or bc i did something wrong......

That's a pretty common report for drilled rotors. Some say it's a low frequency "whirring" sound, some say a very slight vibration.

I'm not saying for sure that the noise you're hearing is normal, I'm saying drilled rotors are notoriously noisy. If you really think something is wrong then you should get it checked out. Brakes are pretty important... ;)

yes it does. i offered a lot less than $175 on one of these that was listed at $199 on ebay and the seller replied me with $175. so i paid him asap.
