What do you guys do with used fluids? (Oil, brake fluid, trans fluid, etc...) I usually return mine to my local parts store but I have a friend who just told me that he leaves his out in labeled milk jugs for the weekly recycling pickup. I had no idea that was even an option...

Resurfaced my front rotors, changed the pads.. One of my rotors was really warped. Well he told me to not go out and test out the new rotors to see if the brake vibration is gone or the shudder, cause that will re warp it. Well i had to bed in my new pads, and i think i warped them because the shake is back when braking at high speeds.. Do you guys think the rotors are fine and its something else??

I've always taken mine to the closest place listed for recycling. Usually just leave the jug full of old oil and used filter in the box on top of what I assume is where you're supposed to pour the oil.

Trash collection rules vary greatly by city (or disposal service area). Call you city or trash company.
My city won't take household hazardous waste at the curb, but has a program for residents to take all kinds of hazardous household waste to a collection site on Saturdays. Oil, filters, fluids, paint, pestacides, pool chemicals, batteries, light bulbs, dead electronics . . . anything except tires, needles and drugs.
Your community must offer something. I assume they're pretty green.

My random question is if Jonas does this with his dogs.
I'll admit it....yes, but not all crazy like that and not holding his head like that with a finger in their ear! lol
But I'm not gonna lie, they love to lick...if you put your head close to theirs, they will right away lick your face, lips, ears, whatever. And if they sleep in your bed (we have two that sleep with us in our king bed), they will try and lick your face and if you let them, they will lick you until they get tired of licking. Sometimes when I rub their ears or spots where they like to be pet like by their tail, they will want to lick you in showing appreciation.
I have no problems with the dogs licking my face as their mouths are cleaner than ours, plus their enzymes kill and clean bacteria, wounds, etc, realizing this is the polar opposite of most others, but don't care.

Not to put down face licking (I'm a dog lover as well) but that's a myth. Their saliva is not antiseptic and just like human saliva, can actually cause infection by licking open wounds due to all the other things contained in and transmitted by saliva. Namely lots of bacteria, among other things.

Not that it really matters either way, I'll still believe my grandma and mom over whatever I read....although a quick wikipedia lookup seems to confirm my statement. When I referred to "enzymes that kill and clean bacteria, wounds, etc" I was referring to the enzyme, lysozyme. Lysozyme attacks the cell walls of many gram-positive bacteria.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says about dogs that: "To best protect yourself from getting sick, thoroughly wash your hands with running water and soap after contact with dogs, dog saliva, or dog feces (stool)."
