The Random Question Thread

Has anyone ever thought of carbon fiber wrapping the rear diffuser on a 1st gen?

I've been checking these out and wonder if the statements about them are true. Would anybody here know, my biggest concern is that I don't want to throw a cel light. 43bd8e9d-f1f8-01d8.jpg 43bd8e9d-f25c-6da0.jpg

^I have those. Everything they say about them is true except for the fact that (with my custom exhaust system+headers) they did produce some rasp so i removed them after about 1000 miles and reinstalled the OEM cats. I've also been tossing around the idea of selling them lately... PM me if you decide you want them.

I posted this question in the general forum, but im trying to figure out if the 09's require nav to get bluetooth and ipod connectivity or if it's standard on ALL 09+ models.

TIA

My HID fog light just came in and I have a quick question.
Everything plugs up right, but there are two bare metal pieces that are left..
it seems as if it's supposed to attach to the vehicle's fog light bulb harness.

Will these just slip in there firmly? It doesn't seem like it to me. I can't remove the fog lights/harness now since it's dark outside.
Here are some pics:

I have an '06-'08 FX, which uses an H8 connection as opposed to the 9006 connection used by the '03-'05.
Would this connector still work?

I meant to say H8. It will work. I done it to AeroBFA twice already. Before his 07 FX45, he had on an 06-08 front bumper which is same as your. Done it again using the same socket for HID his current 07 FX45.

BAAAAWS. Thanks Handy Andy. I went ahead and bought a cheaper H8 connector, it's shipping from the US as opposed to China so it should get here quickly. Thanks, again.

I can't make a recommendation BUT...don't go cheap. Cheap ones rub and trap moisture that can dull the clear coat. I had a tyvex one for an older RX-7 and I would have been better leaving it exposed to the sun's rays.

^ agree. Don't cheap out on a car cover. If you get one, get a very good one with pores so it can air out as well.

Was there a small hiccup with the site just now? I was worrying what I'm gonna do with all my time at work :smile (2):

I really recommend a Noah car cover by Covercraft. I have had the same make for my
last 3 Infinitis. They are very good and breathe, they also have pockets for the mirrors and even the roof antenna. I can post pics of my FX with the cover installed if you want. They are not cheap but are definitely worth it.
