Our "new" A4 is 50:50 and can go up to 25:75 in either direction depending on conditions. In '06 Audi introduced torque vectoring to the "quattro" system and began the 60:40 rear-biased system they use today.

Totally. It could be called "Vector vectoring". Automotive jargon is so funny. I saw another one recently where the car is advertised as having "new technology", as if it were a special option or something.

when I was shopping for a car here in Vancouver, I was lusting over used A3's (espeically the white ones with the black/glass roof)... but in the end, decided to just out right buy a car w/o payments, ended up with a plain V6 06' Ford Fusion, besides I wasn't sure how long I was going to be here... :dontknow:

HA! Thats funny! Yeah, I love miata's, they are like go-garts and being 4'11", they are roomy enough. I saw the posts about stereotypes on here and actually laughed out loud. Most think miatas are pretty girlie, not VW Cabrio girlie, but still. However after attending several local auto cross events, it didn't take long to feel out of place among the middle aged men who wear black socks, sandals and shorts!!!
