Alright guys, Just got off the phone with GTSPEC... Here are the details for shipping.

1 Brace = $15-$25 ($25 being the max)
Addition Braces just $5.00 each on top of shipping price.

Its hard to tell you guys what the shipping would be exactly because it varies on where you live. Just consider this... The closer to NY you are.. the cheaper it will be.

Nothing I see here addresses Canadian customers...do we still order through P.A.W. or through a Canadian company? Will they ship to us in Canada? Also, I'd like an opinion on how the GT Spec product compares with the Stillen product. Will the GT Spec product allow clearance for a plenum spacer (for future consideration).

I will look into the cost to ship to Canada and post shortly.. Thanks for your posting!

Installation was pretty easy for all of them EXCEPT for the ladder brace. Seriously a pain. Ended up paying the dealer $250 to install the $211 part!!! I did not get the lower rear brace because it interferes with the Stillen exhaust (also described in the thread).

QUOTE]

Anyone else experience this during the installation?

F the ladder brace. Took me two days worth of work and never anywhere. Paid a guy $50 and he took stuff apart for an hour until he was able to loosen the bolts.

I lucked out, I took the experience and PM'ed the people who installed the braces and got great advice on how to do it.

I relayed this information to my local mechanic and they had no issues installing all the braces for me once figuring out the "tricks".

You may not even need one. Do you know why people install them? Because the 350z has an OEM strut bar, the front part of the plenum is slanted down for clearance. So, the plenum spacer adds volume to the front two cylinders.

I realize that, and I want to have a look at the top of the engine before I go nuts on it...my information is that the "choke" effect on the VQ engine is a systemic problem in general, not just on the 350. May not make a difference to the VK engine at all.

This order thread is dragging on......but hey Doug, if you can find ways to release the 45 beast I personally am up for it. Seems like most of the newer owners still have hopes that engine product might be developed while of the older owners have given up on the 45, nice to hear passing comments on potential engine MODs even if it is speculative.......
