TBW Aluminum Splash Shield Skid Plate FX35 & FX45

I thought it was just a cutout of the Infiniti emblem similar to the ventilation slots.
 
Each tray has an oil door for easy access. The Mt Fuji logo is an optional decorative cutout of the Infiniti emblem. The other development thread has a picture as an example of what it looks like. The raw aluminum is not technically "brushed". Just silver-look aluminum sheet metal - no black powder coat.

Do you know the height savings at its lowest point versus the plastic tray?

And, what do you think is the possibility of trimming the existing plastic tray so one could keep the little front spoiler. Maybe mounting that on top of the aluminum lip that bolts to body. I would really like to see that lip continue across

Didn't measure heights - but it will remove all sag and be nice and snug

As for lip - it would be easy to remount I would guess - cut it, just use some grabber screws on the backside, use the front bolts to pinch the plastic and metal together
 
I will be compiling and assembling final stuff for the Group Buy

The 2006-2008 will have slightly different variation from the 2003-2005 due to different bumper

We will process the 2003-2005 people first, then the 2006-2008

It will probably be sometime after Christmas that everything will be finalized

I see what you mean here. I haven't had that little dipdown part of the OEM tray on for a couple years and I can't even notice it is missing. And I'm up high at stock height. I can find my OEM and look at it along with the TBW and see if that lip can be merged in any way.
Otherwise, the TBW fits up there nice and tight and snug. Firm fit. No slop. No sag.
