TBW Aluminum Splash Shield Skid Plate FX35 & FX45

Gotcha - I'm worried that If I make the 06-08 right now (even assuming no need to adjust fitment) that the Group Buy people are not going to follow through. I realized its been a longer process (longer than I'd hoped) and interest has somewhat died/faltered. We will need to confirm the 06-08 guys are still IN.
 
I guess this is why GT Spec won't even remake a part until they get 8 orders :bad: Stuff like this is why people can't complain that there isn't aftermarket support for the FX. No one follows through; everyone's in until it comes time to actually put money out.

FWIW, I'm still in for the '06+. If you never make it, I'd probably get the 03-05 and modify it. Tired of not having a belly pan.
 
Got mine about a week ago. Installed and been running it ever since. Really nice piece. Buddy of mine is a mechanic and was quite impressed with the fit and build quality, as was I. Much tighter look and feel than the stock plastic. Overall, very glad I shelled out for it.

Buy the single 06-08 piece that he has and test fit it... TBW said he would pay for shipping back to him, and any necessary changes if it doesn't fit correctly...

For the record I am still 100% in, and if TBW doesn't find another 06-08 person in the US, I will buy the only one. I'm just trying to save as much hassle for the guy. Shipping something like that to canada is a bitch.
 
Is the FX45 one the same? If the oil filter location is close enough for my 35, I'll happily buy it.

TBW offers all the options. 35 & 45 and Gen 1 & Gen 1.5 (pending).
I fit my 45 TBW pan on 35ROK's newer 45 and gave TBW the info to modify. These changes would better the fit to the Gen 1.5's. The only difference would then be the oil door location to your 35. TBW fit tested that to a local 35 near him.
 
If he has the 35 one for Gen 1.5, I'll buy it right now and can report the fit. I misread the previous post where I thought he only had a 45 one. I don't mind minor modifications if needed.

Yeah, I'm still down for the 06-08 FX35.
He PMd a while back that the 06-08 skid plates were ready.. but they're for FX45, unfortunately.
 
received my splash shield. looks legit. I'll see if i can put it on this weekend while i'm changing the oil.
