i have two new ones in my closet got them on ebay for about 250 us i didn't used them yet
right now I'm using two used ones that o got on ebay
the first used one failed about one year later so i replaced it with the second used one passenger side still working fine

I used this brand for the hood and they work good.
I am going to get this part for replacing the trunk liftgate in my infinity
$117 each, the hood shocks have been good for a few years now.

Im surprised about the lift gate statements! My liftgate mostly does not work and intermitently in cooler weather (as it seems) (and Maybe some other factor). I changed the struts with a chinese brand with still the same problem so I put back the original struts. I have been looking for the small Brain /Computer to this system. My interior panels ripped apart for months still cant find this little box. Between AI and Dealership the little box is in so many places. Has anybody had luck with this lift gate. As it seems just your struts. I get the beep beep and then it stops. Should I try another set of struts or has anybody changed the small box/ computer?
