Ha, hopefully not coming to that, but I can't lie, my wife let's me be with my car so I have to do the same for her, that was part of the deal with getting to keep the FX in the family AND getting my next ride :rolleyes: ... I had to back off and let her feel like it's actually hers lol. That said, what I'm trying to figure out is how to help her along with something that, while not everyone's taste, is still looking clean.

New ride is a final year 08 BMW M coupe, will have some nice group shots coming as the M coupes (both gens) remind me of the FX for some reason.

if your next ride is this, lots of similarities between (esp the wheels :tongue (2): ). love the F14's tho.

Ha, that would be the one! Although for only the second time ever (in a long list of random vehicles), I've gotten a non-black car and went silver, black car + Seattle weather is not a winning combo 8 months out of the year :smile (2):
 
believe there was a woman here who had a black fx with pink details on the outside (i.e. pink chanel logo instead of the mt fuji emblem, etc). Cant quite remember the member's name
 
Sydney - where did you get your FX windows tinted? I just picked up a black FX50, and need to get the fronts done (im in the Seattle area too). I really liked what you did with your (actually your wife's) FX.

Thanks! 20x10 on all four, didn't know about the CF but I had them painted the color I was looking for,.

Thanks and congrats on the new pickup! I drove up north to Advanced Sound & Tint which is in Lynnwood. They did a good job for me there.

Thanks for the tip. I just had them do my fronts today with 15% tint on my fx50. My first "mod" to my ride, and it looks a whole lot better!
 
Hi Sydney, I found your Fx35 pictures online. I really like the wheels you have. I have 2010 white FX35 and I am going to get the same wheels as yours (but in silver).

I am located in Vancouver, BC. Could you tell me where you got your wheels/tires from in Washington State? Much thanks!!!
 
Congrats Presto ... I dealt directly w/ the manufacturer (www.forgestar.com), though I don't know if they still deal directly with the public ... give them a call, worst case, they can point you to your closest vendor :tup:

I blelieve there is a sponsor/vendor that is selling Forgestar wheels on IS. B2autodesigns I think. Check out the vendor section in the bottom of the forum, and you can find thier info. They usually get back to you right away with a quote for the wheels..
 
thanks. i emailed B2autodesigns. They gave me a pretty good price. How are they? Have you ordered stuff thru them before?

And for 2010 FX35 AWD, what's the spec for oem 20"? 20x8.5 both front and rear?

We had a group buy with B2autodesigns. I live in Canada and Charles was great to deal , I was very satisfied with them.

As to the 2nd Gen OEM 20" rims, they are 20 x 8" with a 50mm offset, front and rear..
