Squeaking Front Console/Dash

Does removing dashboard require removing of the front passenger airbag module? I have the similar problem and I am going to get the same thing fixed up.

Sorry, no idea. The dealership didn't tell me if they did that or not.

No worries man, I will see what I end up with at my buddy's garage.

the airbag is mounted to the dash pad, usually you'd leave the airbag attached to the dashpad & remove it with the bag still attached to it. the airbag also bolts to the bracing behind the glovebox & those bolts are removed.

Thanks Turbo. I will just leave the airbag attached to the dashboard and unscrewed it from the bracing for dashboard removal. :.smile:
