Silver Surfer - FX45 :: 2006 Infiniti FX45

Tim I'll be heading to Portland tomorrow morning. Can pick u up and drop u off at lances on the way back. Then You can taxi home... ;)

Man, what would that be, like a $1200 cab ride? Let me think about it. Are you really coming down here tomorrow?

I say $1200 is well worth it to see the surfer first hand ;) I am. To Vancouver actually. Picking up my bumpers and dropping another car off for my brother hence not taking the fx :(

Haha that's right. We got plenty of emptIER roads here up north in case you're interested....

Mechanic working on the FX may have time to trim the wheels wells and install the HFC's while it is down. Hoping my engine ordeal will turn up some silver linings with regards to "bonus" work....first new mod for 2012 will be a full on sound deadener attack. Might try to tie it back in with some stereo gear =)

Almost done.....the Seattle Snowmaggedon has worked to my advantage. Charles is trapped in his shop with my engine.......

Hah, no VK 56DE (although I have had thoughts about it). It was much easier to pull the engine for the repair. Thought was that the issue may have been caused by the cramped space and trying to force in a valve retainer without being able to see it it was seated correctly. Charles is taking no chances on this install.....he also has said that any future cam installs (all you VK's that are dying to do this=)) will be much more efficient with the engine out.
