Something is wrong, you're getting killed on MPG. I get between 16-22 in my 45. Do you have a heavy foot? Tire pressure should be 35PSI. Are you using premium gas? That actually makes about a 4MPG difference in my 45. Covers the higher price and then some, plus is noticeably faster with premium. Change your plugs, refine your tire pressure, fill with fresh premium, and try to drive a little more conservatively, see what that gets you. Doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy the car, it's fast and fun to drive. But a lot of people (and I was like this when I was younger) are either hard on the gas pedal, or hard on the brake pedal. Drive like grandpa sometimes, and like a bat out of hell other times. Most of what kills MPG is bad driving practice.
if you can get a little 4 cylinder for your daily driver and let the fx sit. by the time you trade in the fx and finance something else it may not be worth it. think it through, and good luck.
What'd you say? Sorry, I was drooling over your chopper. I'll trade you my soul, it's got low miles...If you are having second thoughts and seek input from others, then dont do it. I'm sure there is a way to make ends meet. Regrets are a b!tch...
