Im gonna have to take it in. I read about that behind the dash thing on another 4um as well. It should be covered with my warranty, I hope. Otherwise Ima tell them to go fvck themselves and tear up my dash.:mad.:
I dont know if there was dash work as I just purchased this last dec. But I think this woulda lit up by then. I did change the cabin filter last March. Who knows.Did you have your dash replaced under waranty? If so maybe something accidentally was pulled/tugged/loosened. If so then there should be no money out of pocket...at least that is what I would say.
Just FYI, my service engine light went off last Wed. after 3 days with it on. Hasnt gone on since. Should I still bring it to the stealer?I cleaned the 3 ground connections I found and re-tightned them. The service engine is still on. Is this suppose to be reseted to find out if the service light goes off or is it still on cause I didnt fix anything?
Thanks man. I'll take her in.Like I posted above....the SES light will go out after 20-25 "clean starts" The code is still there as it is a hard code, it doesn't disappear. I gaurantee you, it will eventually come back...The dealer will be able to pull it at anytime and tell you how many times this code has been triggered, even if you think the SES has been cleared..it hasn't.
You can wait till it triggers again, but that could be months down the line. Just take it in...you're still under warranty..I wish I was.
