Jeff, could it because I'm taking all my pictures in wide format and when it's resized the default length is 375?

Dude, It's an odd ball size. Paste the pic into a file thats of the right dims, then scale & move around in PS till you like the placement. Flatten it out, or save for web, jpeg.

Here are examples of the sizes, I really think going 500x375 is a bit square.

You guys vote on what you like and if we vote a different size I can adjust the format in vbulletin.

My vote is for the current 500x325 size.

LOL, 500x375 looks square as Jeff said but the 600x375 would look cool...bigger pictures

600x375 does not come out on my resizer or PS. If i go up to 600 then 403 is the default height.

using the sizes by just reducing the original image size in ps will make the photos on the square side, they look better when they have more of a wide-screen look.

File >> New >> adjust to size >> Drag original photo into new file >> Crop,move,scale,adjust until you get the look you want. >> Layer >> Flatten Image.

I've been playing a bit in photoshop with some pictures I took recently, the stock wheels were on it at the time... I'm going to get some new shots now that I put the new tires & rims back on

I see....ok will have to give that a try as i have yet to do a photo that way.

ok, I didn't watermark this one or anything yet... I was playing in the snow last night & I took a few pictures... I really love the way this one came out, had to post it SOMEWHERE, so here it is, she's all wet like she was sweating or something... I REALLY gotta clean my tips one day

the fx is pretty cool in the snow... reminds me of an audi quattro I had kinda, but I got a little too nutz & almost curbed it hard... playtime was over then:wub:

& doc, an easy way to get your pictures 500x325 is to resize the picture to 500... it'll give you the 500x375 of course, but then in ps you can crop & type in the desired dimentions of the crop, then the crop will be right, center the image by dragging the crop outline up & down till it's good then rightclick & crop... you'll have to sacrifice a little off the top or bottom., but you'll get the right size with no distortion
