Agree with shadow on I-5 route. We drove it jut the last fall. Took 101/hwy1 to LA and I-5 back (because of time as well). When traveling through Montana and Dakota there is really not much to see so don't expect to spend time much time there.
Come stop by MD Meme, I got you. World Famous MD crabcakes!!
Make sure you're here on a weekend. We'll roll you in the line on some of the best driving roads
Let me know when you come through San Francisco. I'm down to meet up and grab a bite to eat with you. We can cruise through the city and take photos as well.
Shift over to the coast route between San Francisco and SoCal. Highway 1 is a must drive, but you'll likely add a day of travel for the proper experience.
I-5 also completely sucks between SF and LA. The concept of not sitting in the left lane is lost on most folk there.
The I-5 after Santa Clarita to Los Banos is very straight and boring. I have driven it many times and even watched a guy fall asleep driving, he drove about 50ft off the road woke up and went back on the freeway like nothing ever happened.
Yep. I drove I-5 from SF to LA last July. All can say is Boring.
I am in Charlotte and love FX's. Look me up and we can take pics or grab lunch. My wife is also a photographer and she would love some shots. The only event that you may hit in Charlotte is Cars and Coffee. Lots of cool Nissans and Infiniti's and its the first Saturday every month. Just let me know.
Hit me up when you are in Cali bro, I can prob meet you up depending on the day and time.
you're driving all that way and skipping over a ton of good cities to visit. Come to NYC![]()
I'll be following. would love to run into u on your way
On the east coast, maybe add some time and cut over closer to the coast and go through DC and NYC. Atlanta isn't bad (my hometown), Charlotte is kind of small. But it seems like it would be a waste to go all the way to the east coast and skip 2 of the biggest cities with actual history and culture. Atlanta and Charlotte could literally be any city in the US.
