Resonator Delete-2009 FX35

Any drone on the highway? V6's are not harmonically balanced and prone to drone at highway speeds. I would have personally went with a high flow resonator instead of deleting it entirely.

I believe our Infiniti's are Matsushita ballasts. I have found them to be bullet proof and actually haven't heard in my experience of them failing. I've had bulbs fail (all aftermarket) and never a Philips bulb fail.

I know we have the Matsushita ballasts. I'm not talking about those cause their for the low beams. What he is talking about is that he has aftermarket HID lighting in his foglights, which means it's very likely to be a ballast failure.

its probably the ballast :( i have to check tomorrow it was raining today! if its that they should change it under warranty right? i have with them only like 3months..

Whatever place you bought the ballasts from they should offer you some type of warranty. Ballasts are so cheap anyways. I never bother with the warranty cause it takes a while. You can get ballasts dirt cheap off of DDMtuning.com website.

Yes it definitely doesn't sound good with the camera vid.
A fly by would probably sound much better.

i thought the resonator/muffler delete sounded good on the fx50 v8 but some how it sounds so muddy on the fx35 v6???? imo it sounds too much like a truck? anyways would love too hear some flyby and take offs with a camcorder :)

Sounds pretty good although you were right there is also a lot of wind noise in the recording.

The biggest difference I notice is that it sounds more like the 2003 FX when the exhaust was at it's loudest. People actually flag me down at red lights and ask me what's different since they notice it compared to other 2009+ models.

thanks guys!!! i just install the intake and man i feel a very big difference performance and sound, im very veryyy happy! sobi man i don't know what you did man but the intake sounds and the performance loving it :))) thankss

ill post an other video with the intake sound soon! :)

So if I were to take my 2nd gen FX to any muffler shop, what exactly do I tell them to do?

Is it to remove the big resonator that connects the 2 end tips and use straight pipes instead?
