Resonator Delete-2009 FX35

I say replace the rear muffler with a Flowmaster or similar than deleting the resonator. You'll get both a better sound and better flow. Resonator is mainly to reduce the sound but it wouldn't be as restrictive as the rear muffler..

To put that in images:
A resonator cut out:

A muffler cut out (stock would be much more restrictive than this)

i deleted mine. it made it a little louder. a little raspier when not warmed up though. it is ok, but not a huge difference

i have the 08. i deleted my resonator and it sounded really raspy, then i got an intake which took away the raspyness. i then deleted my muffler and it was very loud so i put on a glasspack resonator. i would say go ahead and do it and if u dont like the sound, get a glasspack resonator

if you do decide to go with a muffler. I brought a flowmaster series 80 that fits the 09 but couldn't get it install due to shop cost here on the westside. let me know i can ship it out to you for cheaper than lordco. One guy on the other forum did the same thing to his fx50 and he live in toronto and according him the price to fit it on is alot more resonable than what i can get here.

lol @ taking it to a place that services USPS trucks

hey i see that you have the same fog light that i have on,, i just saw today that my right fog light was not on, what do you think it its before i try to fix it tomorrow,, i got them around 2months ago so they are new..

I say its burnt bulb or the ballast, usually thats what wrong when a hid fails.

Hurry up and do a take off video there is already so many rev vids :p

damn im crazy to fix my fog light maybe something got loose who knows ill check tomorrow,,, ill make a cool video this week taking off and in cabin sound and drive by..

I'd say try reconnecting everything first, and making sure it's tight. But the most common cause is a ballast failure. If I had a nickel for everytime those things fail, it's be a rich man. Most of the time the bulb is good. I never really had bulb problems before though, just mostly ballasts failing.

Any drone on the highway? V6's are not harmonically balanced and prone to drone at highway speeds. I would have personally went with a high flow resonator instead of deleting it entirely.

I believe our Infiniti's are Matsushita ballasts. I have found them to be bullet proof and actually haven't heard in my experience of them failing. I've had bulbs fail (all aftermarket) and never a Philips bulb fail.

I have no drone on the highway, and i've taken my baby on 6+ hour car rides, not to mention the drive to and from the cottage 60 miles each way every weekend.
