Hey all,
Don't know if you've been following my saga with Jim Coleman Infiniti and the clunking noise coming from my front driver's side wheel area.
Long story short, there's an odd noise/thump that occurs when I go over a bump and is more pronounced when the bump is at an angle (Reversing out of a driveway).
They insist it's because I have after-market brake pads and so I told them that I'd let them do a front brake job and if it didn't fix the problem they'd reimburse me for it.
So that's happening this weekend (7-9-11).
In other news, I was coming out of the grocery store yesterday and I noticed my FX sitting as if I had a ten ton weight in the trunk. The rear looked compressed and the front looked much higher. I walked all around it and it looked the same on the other side and now I'm wondering if my suspension in general is shot. (I didn't have anything in the trunk).
I'll post pictures tonight.
I'm running stock suspension and the stock 18" wheels if that helps.
