Rear Hatch Chrome Trim Removal

Got me curious . . I really think you should have left the lettering, but that's just me.

Here's a look at the black you have, then another with evrything, incl. the emblem in a brushed finish look.
I actually think the chrome compliments the pipes & can at the rear, & the door handles. Especially with a high contrast color like the silver.

. . not that I think the black is bad, it looks good.

yea the emblem is going black as well. can't decide if i should remove and paint the one that is on there then try to reinstall it or just get a new one. i also think i'm gonna tint the red tails and throw them back on. also looking into powdercoat for the stock 20s

Yes, just get a new emblem and paint the new one. That is what I did, and you don't have to worry about reapplying the double sided tape.

now if you got chrome infiniti letters from like a g or something & stuck them on there, that would look trick... I thought of doing something like that to take away some chrome but still leave slight touches of it...

so now what, gonna do the rest? handles? lowers?

i think i'm going to have the handles and lowers done in silver to match the body, and i'm hoping to at some point do the black top that was photoshopped here.
