looking good jeff :good:
I agree, the front lip makes a huge difference.IDK, the 2nd Gen without the front aero lip just don't look right to me now!
Awesome!! What color is that? I was thinking of wrapping my fx in a similar color...I'm hesitant because I don't think I'll be able to do a good job, and I don't have the cash to pay a shop to do it, lol.
Who is the vinyl made by?
The color is called "Moonlight Blue Metallic" - it has a satin finish. I love it. At night it's almost black. When it's sunny, it sparkles between navy blue and dark purple. When it's overcast, the color is dark blue. It's a very 'moody' color. As for not doing a good job, this is my first full car. I've done numerous hoods and roofs before. However, I found that this specific vinyl is very easy to work with. It has microscopic pores which allow air to exit if you have bubbles. Heat fixes all the creases. Really, there is nothing to worry about if you have the patience and if you are decent with an exact knife.
The brand is Oracal. I was debating between 3m and Oracal but a lot of vinyl shops are quite impressed with the Rapid Air tech on this specific vinyl - so I just decided to go with that.
Yeah I was looking at that same color for my fx too. It's an amazing color! I've wrapped a few roofs (with Oracal gloss black vinyl) before but nothing on the scale of a whole vehicle. How much vinyl was needed for the whole car?
