Lol, enjoy. I loved Germany, my daughter worked at Wurtzburg University one year so we went over for a month and had a great time. All the best.I’m
Wayne! I’m actually on the final leg on my move to Stuttgart. I’ll be out here for a couple years. Don’t worry, a trip down the autobahn and around the Nurburgring are on the planner!
First off, thank you for the awesome compliment!
Secondly, I’ve always been a fan of the ARK exhaust system -especially for the 5.0, as it sounds fantastic not only at WOT, but also at idle, low RPM acceleration and even downshifting during engine braking. It just sounds deeper and throatier without being obnoxious
You’ll have to deal with a slight increase in cabin drone, but this side effect is unavoidable no matter which catback exhaust system you choose. If you want a deeper, louder exhaust note then you should obviously expect this to translate to more internal noise.
Then there is aggressive aesthetic of the ARK system; those two huge resonators look fairly intimidating peeking out from beneath the bumper. So not only are you getting an incredible exhaust note, but your also getting the additional bonus of a matching aesthetic. It looks the absolute opposite of stock.
Okay - call me a technical idiot; but I can't seem to find what the f__k you just posted; no pics; nada - just old stuff, which admittedly - is freakin' awesome!
But...I was hoping to see what you did to wrap the wood trim of the interior (and learn why you wrapped?)
Thanks, PEEj!
Wrapping the interior trim was the beginning of my foray into learning how to work with vinyl. I did it mainly because I wasn't too keen on the look of the wood paneling, as well as provide a small level of protection from scratching.
I'm sure there are a few photos floating around on the site someplace.
I did this mod myself years ago. It's easy peasy if my memory serves me correct. It takes 10 minutes to install.
