QX70 auto hatch inoperable

Only the inside Open/ Close button works. The remote stopped operating it, and the exterior button will unlock hatch, but won't open it. Nether will the inside hatch button close it.
Thoughts/ experiences?
 
I just installed the 13.6" phoenix radio and mine is now doing the same thing. Were you in the dash doing anything?
 
having the same problem one off my electric liftgate struts is malfunctioning wen closed it sticks out half a inch on the bottom drivers side and lower on top
tried to fix it by replacing the hinge (new from stealership 116 + 15% tax canadien ) no go problem still there
so next i guess it has to be the strut

ok, so silly question....did you check the power hatch switch to make sure it was on? 'Cause that fixed my problem...smh.......

Funny thing. I unhooked one strut at a time to see if I could isolate the problem.
Put everything back together, and it works now.
Don't understand it but I'll take it.

I'll be damned, I had this issue for a month until I read this post. I feel like an idiot.
