Put some bump in that trunk (Sub install with custom box)

wow, that is awesome..are you restricted in the size of the sub you can put in there? i know you mentioned being able to fit a 12" one in there...is that the biggest you think your mold could hold? i was thinking about a single 15" L7 but will stick with a 12" if it means being able to get one of these when they're available

Sorry, just trying to keep my disappointment bottled up. Cause this would have been a nice option.

Unfortunately the guy who said he might be able to make a mold, doesn't even own his FX anymore. So its safe to say this is a dead subject.
 
Btw, I still own my Fx, Unfortunetly I have had far to many other things in my days to day life to actually start making them. I did check with a few companies to make molds and they were all north of $6000.00 to do so, I still plan on doing this but simply have not had time. Maybe a good winter project, I will post if and when it finally happens!

Sorry I got your UserID mixed up with someone else.

If you could make this happen I have no doubt that there are a few people who would be interested in the box. Right now the WickedCAS is the only tailored box for the FX, and if that doesn't work for someone the only other option they have is generic boxes (which suck), and custom (which is $$$).
