PROLONG Waterless Wash & Shine

I think ICE is so so. Stuff I like best is the QD from Mothers, not Meguirs (that stuff is crap).
Mothers has great cleaning ability, goes on really smooth & lite & smells like you could drink it.

Does the QD from mothers go on clear like ice?

thanks stellani. just to clear stuff up, i like the product! and will continue using it. Nothing bad about it yet


i just got home today and inspected the prolong. When feeling the panels i could feel where it was applied and where it wasnt. Windows/panels are still very clear/clean even though i drove throw massive dust/dirt/construction areas. Im going to wash again soon and do the whole car

if i buff the car with prolong, how good do u think it will be in removing swirls? will it be a temporary solution or will the swirls only come back after a couple more crappy washes?

I dont think I would buff with Prolong. I just dont think it was intended for that purpose. After you buff, I could see going over it with Prolong, but not to use with your actual buffer. I always use Meguiar's clear coat polish for buffing. Wax with Meguiars gold class after. Prolong, for me, it just for an after-wash detailer...
