Primarily due to my wife relocating for work, we are considering something a bit more fuel efficient. 18 to 20 MPG is not cutting it lol :smile (2):
My firm reimburses my mileage and it has been enough to subsidize all fuel costs, but with my wife driving over 680 miles a week, we have to suck up excess fuel cost out of our pockets since my reimbursement is not enough to cover all of it.
I did an analysis and the cost of new car payment plus fuel will net us a saving of $60 a month. I love our FX, but I find this pretty sad lol...
We recently picked up another new infiniti after settling our M35 lemon and this will be a low mileage and my play car. We are going to look at a 2014 Mazda 6. What is appealing is the 38 mpg on the highway which will alleviate our monthly fuel cost. Plus, I have an excuse to pick up a new car and dump a 7 year old car.
If I decide to do it tomorrow or maybe next week, I will put up the following items for sale:
1) 2 rear GT spec braces
2) Stillen STB
3) LMS Black Powdercoated SRI
4) Tanabe Y pipe (maybe I can reuse this on my new infinit...)
5) 20x9.5 5Zigen Gravis 1 Rims and tires or OEM Sport 20s depending on how motivated I am to swap out the wheels
6) Tonneau Cover & Adapter for 06+ - this retailed for quite a bit from what I recall and it's a really nice option to have.
7) OEM Sport SPrings - Not even sure if this is worth selling. I will probably just give them away to whoever needs it.
I am probably too lazy to ship so locals would have 100% preference.
