The problem that can happen with powder coating is that the rim will bend when the powdercoat is baked in a oven.
This heat input "might" cause the rim to bend and then you have to get it straigtned up again.
I think soon i will do my 20" stocks with plasti dip, can't go wrong and if so or fed up you can always remove it again.
I like this matte finish, sporty look!
