very easy mod... the only time i really worked on was prepping, giving even coats, and wait time... otherwise very simple.

remove top clips (i have 6 total)

prep materials used

1. water/alcohol mix bottle
2. Rapid prep - removes lubricants
3. 3M 1200 grit sand paper
4. bucket of water/soap mix for wet sanding

1 can of Krylon Fusion Satin Black / first coat

after 5 coats

gave it 3 coats of Krylon Fusion Clear Coat paint then after 1 hour drying i installed it back on the front bumper

Very nice! I would have thought we already had a DIY for this, but maybe just threads about it. Yours is very helpful though. One day I will find a spare grille for this.
 
film on heads? or if stock heads you need to buff your headlights, i presume you have the pre-recalled headlight?, i use to have those and they were yellow, dealer changed them

i have precut light smoke film over the HL side only... i didnt put the film that goes over the turning lights... almost impossible to put on due to the curvature of the lamp so i left them off. (rvinyl.com)... not liking them though:mad.:
 
Too bad theirs are no longer hosted, but I can imagine the results. A lot of my friends nowadays are raving about plasti- dip. Has anyone tried here? Comes out of a can with min prep, and when you get sick of the look or it's time to sell, you just pick at a corner and peel the rubberized paint right off.
